I walked in this morning after having a terrible experience with the nail salon I had gone to last night. My nails were crooked, bulky and mismatched in size from the previous place. The ladies working this morning jumped right in and fixed my nails and they look a million times better than what the previous place had done. They corrected the size and length to look much more natural. They fixed the color for me. They were so sweet and attentive to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. I could not be more happy with the service I received today.

Went there for the first time in probably a year on new years eve. I had an appointment for a pedicure and a full set. Took them almost an hour before they started anything. the lady that did my pedicure rushed through it and then complained about being asked to do my full set. she rushed through doing the nails and cut me with her tools. Gave me attitude and now that the nails are falling off they ruined my real nails to the point where I am bleeding. worst service and experience ever.
They used to be great but now they are terrible, all they wanted to do was hurry up and close so that they can do a karaoke. I highly recommend not spending money here at all and on top of it the full set was done unevenly and not the way the picture showed that I wanted.

The pedicure I got was great, but the dip powder nails I payed for were terrible. A friend of mine and I went in on a Friday night and while it was very busy they were quick to get us in the pedicure chair (yay). But once I sat down to get my nails done it seemed very weird that she cut the tips with scissors, which I hadn't seen before. Then as she was going the powder the color looked nothing like the color I chose.
When I asked her about that she responded with, "is it too pink? I don't know if the color will change I've never done this color before". Then she put four layers of powder on and said "oh it looks like jelly". Which I agreed. Anyways, I spent a little over an hour in the chair and I left with opaque nails. I can still see the line for the tip under the color, as well as my own nail. My friend was cut on her cuticle and her nails were very uneven and super thick. We both left wanting to tell the others waiting to not even bother.

I stopped coming here a few years ago due to waiting an hour even with an appointment scheduled. Thought I'd give them another chance since it had been so long. Well, nothing has changed! Sat for 20 mins before anyone even saw me. The pedicure was done poorly. Then I was moved to another lady to get shellac on my nails. She began to soak off the old polish. when 2 pedicure appointments walked in, she walked away to help them, didnt say a word and I sat there with foil on my nails for another 20-30 mins.
By this point it had been almost 2 hours of being there. FINALLY, the owner says I'll be taken care of. I continued to sit there. Finally got a simple shellac manicure done in a rush. I will not be coming back here. My suggestion would be to be more attentive to your clients that are already there instead of trying to cram in as many clients as you can in one day.

I love getting my nails done here, it's so fast and affordable. There are nail techs who are super talented and can do all of the latest trendy stuff like ombre and embellishments and things! I drive all the way from Windsor just to get my nails done here! It's not a super elaborate salon and it's pretty small but I'm not someone who needs a crazy experience, just cute nails!

I have no idea why I keep visiting this place. Kim the owner kept me waiting for over 1 1/2 hours on her couch because her workers decided they didn't want to do any more work and so I was the last one in there and she was the only one working. She then only showed me gel polish and sanded off a nail that didn't even need fixing. When I called for a fill, she quoted $20, when she only showed me the gel polish and filed off my nail with out talking to me about it, I figured it was included in the price.
At the end, she charged me $35 $10 for the gel $5 for the fixed nail She makes your nails bleed and burns them with the electric file. Don't go here, and if you do and she pulls that shit with you, don't pay her the extra money. She locked me in the store until I agreed to pay the $35 which I will be disputing.

I will leave a better review if LA nails reaches out to me to fix this -- but I am very unhappy about my nails. They are so raw and hurt after getting them done 2 days ago with one of the guys that works there (he might be the only guy. he's older. really friendly, but DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO BE GENTLE!) I kept saying "ouch" and he didn't make any attempt to be more gentle. my nails were bleeding, and right now my thumb hurts so bad I can barely use my hand. It's super painful, and it was unprofessional the way he handled a simple acrylic fill. He clearly knows what he's doing, but he really needs to figure out how to be softer.

I walked in because I desperately needed an acrylic refill and I was pleasantly surprised to find a place opened until 8 pm. I was seen to right away and I was apprehensive not to say the least when my technician looked nothing like I imagined a nail person to look like. Well, I try not to be judgmental but when his nails are broken and dirty, I kinda wonder if I should run out before it's too late. Bordering on unkempt appearance. um, do I need to say more. Vanity has no limits and I was pleasantly surprised to get the most amazing work I've ever had.
The acrylic was thinly applied, and looks extremely natural. Shaped perfectly. Next to no polish on my cuticles. I am picky. This guy rocks! Warning though: he has a style of his own with the energy board and emery sponge. A little unconventional in the mannerisms. His nails were a little sharp too, so you might be a little uncomfortable when they dig into you while he's working on you. Bonus is there's no surcharge on credit card payment. Yes, there are some businesses who do not hesitate to slap on 75c for the service. I hope to return and I'll cross my fingers I'll be leaving with a smile on my face.

I went to get my nails done here and the gentleman did them and it was so painful, my pinky nail was even bleeding. The next day I examined my nails again and they were horrible. and I'm not a picky person and I mean they looked HORRIBLE. They were so misshapen and the polish was all over my finger and cuticle. I called and politely asked to come in and get them fixed ( I never do stuff like this) they told me they had no idea how long I was going to have to wait, even laughed on the phone, and said I should just "come in and get in line".
The absolute only positive experience I had was with the woman who fixed them, I even tipped her for the "free fix" because she worked hard to make them right. SAVE YOUR TIME. DONT GO HERE.

I walked into this nail salon after being turned away by a couple others, expecting it to be totally mediocre. I was completely wrong! Kiki did my nails and they turned out AMAZING! She took her time on them and made sure they looked perfect. The salon also has a great atmosphere and staff was friendly. Looks like I found my new favorite nail place!

LOVE this place. I have been getting my nails done since I was five years old, and have very picky taste. LA nails has never done a poor job. Sometimes, the wait can be really long. but I guess that's a good thing because it's a popular place, but sometimes it can get frustrating, even if you call ahead. Kim, the owner, is a great woman.
There is definitely a family feel inside the salon. Pricing is about where you'd expect it, sometimes can be a little surprising. This is the first nail place I've ever seen hire employees of different ethnicities. Basically the salon is very diverse it's cool. I recommend coming here.

I've come here a few times before but this time I had a few notes that made me want to rate this place as such. First of all before I say what the reasons are, the nails that I got were actually so gorgeous (picture included!). Kim and another nail tech were switching on and off doing my service so it was a little odd but whatever. While she was using the drill to file the acrylic it slipped and she cut the edge of my ring finger and it was bleeding. super awkward but she didn't say sorry.
Also I got charged more than the client next to me but we got the same service: tip with acrylic and a gel overlay. We both got a single color and glitter on our ring fingers. I don't think it's fair to change the price based on the experience with the client. I was extremely nice the entire time despite having to wait 30 minutes in between each step of my manicure because the nail tech was told to work on someone else.
I also heard Kim say to another client ( a regular) "this is why I like doing your nails you actually relax your fingers when told" and she happened to remind me once to relax my fingers. Might I add my fingers were tense because she just cut my ring finger by accident my last note is that I noticed that the implements were not sanitized. The buffers were used multiple times on multiple clients, same with files and drills. I'm a licensed cosmetologist so I know what DORA standards are and they would've been in violation had I been working for DORA.
Also when I was cut AND bleeding, by law they were supposed to perform a blood spill procedure so they prevented spreading disease (especially with those dirty implements haha) and this didn't happen. Nonetheless I still tipped $10 on a $50 set. honestly I might still go back because I liked the nails like I said, there's just a lot of things that happened where it should've encouraged me not to. Hope this was insightful to future clients!

Really nice experience. I had a shellac manicure last night, and am so far pleased. I can't speak to longevity of the polish yet, but can say the treatment and attention I received during my service was very good. My hands were in poor shape, with a torn and tender cuticle. The manicurist trimmed my cuticles, buffed out other troubling jagged edges near my nail bed and really took the time to deep clean around my nail tips.
I wasn't in a chatty mood, and was happy the manicurists I worked with didn't feel compelled to engage in small talk. The work and their manners easily justify four stars. I am a bit concerned about the off gassing in the salon though. Every manicurist wears a surgical mask. I was glad to see that, but man. The chemical smells were strong. This was an incredible value, too. I got what I'll consider one of my best manicures for a mere $25. I'll be back for sure.
