Very happy with my hair! Cute salon, sweet couple own the salon, very friendly and did a great job with my har. I've never found a stylist that actually understands thin, curly hair, and now I have! Took a great deal of time thoroughly drying, flat-ironing my fly-aways, I left the salon feeling very styled. I typically have to go home and 'fix' my hair, not this time. She really listened and understood my hair and my style and what I wanted. So happy, will be back.

Really horrible experience. Went to get a trim and partial highlights. The website gave me a reasonable price and, yes it says +, but that's usually for if you have really long hair or something (I have shoulder length, super fine hair). I sit down with Edith all excited and she tells me she charges "$20 per highlight." I have literally never heard of anyone charging per highlight. so then I ask how much would that be for my hair. Edith's response for less than half my hair would be 19 highlights. so over $300!

I left. I'm super disappointed. Would not recommend because 1) They don't seem experienced. I have never heard of a professional refer to a single highlight 2) The online prices are not accurate at all

Very nice couple run the store with a nice Latin Peruvian flavor in the music and decor. Had great conversation while getting my hair done. Asked me what I wanted, have them some very open options to style my hair and I'm very happy with how it came out. Would recommend to friends looking to get a haircut in downtown

I went in for haircut and my fiance came with me to explain what she and I wanted, which was a light trim. My hair had been growing for 6 months and she liked it long. Marco ignored her wishes and as soon as I saw him cut off 3 inches I knew it was too late. He gave me a business cut awfully close to a bowl cut. Now I have to wait several months for it to be long enough for her to pull. Marco completely ignored our wishes and cut it the way he wanted.

I saw Berenice for a last-minute appointment today and she nailed it. We started out going over the plan for the day: I showed her a few ideas I had, as well as the concerns associated with the style, then she gave her recommendations on length/ adjustments based on versatility and overall look. She did a great job during the wash, even giving a nice little neck massage.

She checked in on water temperature a few times, as well. During the cut and style, she explained every step she was doing and made me feel like I could speak up if something wasn't to my comfort or style. I also didn't need to speak up because she knows her craft. It's not the cheapest place, but it's worth every penny. It's also about what you'd expect to pay in this area. Because pictures speak louder than words, I've included a picture of her work. Thanks, Berenice! My fiance loves it as much as I do.

Berenice used to cut my hair for 6years in San Antonio! I miss her A TON! Shes super skilled and extremely creative. She crafts and masters what you want, what will work for you. She always took what I was comfortable with, pushed the edge, and created a unique style she would master. The haircut would change depending on season, new techniques or latest styles.

I have a ton of respect for Berenice's business. Shes very meticulous, takes great pride in the work she produces, and the people she works with. If you are a gentleman, a woman, anyone of any age, or any haircut, I HIGHLY recommend Bernice as your stylist. We miss her in SA!

I have come here for haircuts for almost 20 years, so I LOVE this place! I feel like Marco and Edith aren't just owners, but part of my extended family. Someone mentioned that there is a big dog here and I wanted to share a little more information. The "big dog" is Luna and she's a poodle. Poodles have dense, curly fur that sheds minimally and hence are considered hypoallergenic. I wouldn't let "the big dog" inhibit your chances of having a wonderful experience!

What more can I say about this place that hasn't been said - I've been frequently going here for a few years now. Marco and Edith have always shown great hospitality, not only to me, but towards their other clients. The staff are also very welcoming and genuine. And I haven't even mentioned the haircuts yet! Marco is an amazing stylist. He knows exactly what I want every time; his skill is second to none. For however long he continues to cut hair, I'll always be there. Please don't hesitate to visit this place and give it a try. You'll love it!
